System2 was founded to prepare for a world where decision-making is driven by data. Clients engage System2 to deliver data-driven solutions. We source data, write code, do statistics, develop tools, and make things actionable.
Our process starts with a business problem (e.g. I'd like to buy stock in XYZ but I'm afraid their margins are suffering, or I am trying to qualify leads for my sales team, but it’s like finding a needle in the haystack). We turn that problem into something measurable (how many products are discounted, or what are the attributes of a qualified lead), and then source, clean, and enhance the right data (ingest, scrape, architect, buy, or borrow). Finally, we analyze it (looks like their discounts are much bigger than last year, or leads are best right after a promotion) and deliver visualization, forecasts, or tooling to the client (margins are declining faster than guidance, or qualified leads sent directly to your CRM).
System2 is looking to hire people who can help us with this process.
In an ideal world, we’d love to find people who are great at programming (Python, SQL), great at math and stats, and have experience with risk management and investment research. In short, we need superheroes. Don’t worry if you don’t have all those skills yet, some heroes haven’t discovered their own strength.
